ENCOURAGING THOUGHT:
Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
Hey Beauties!!
Welcome back beauties!!! Its the second day already and Im still excited! Today was gorgeous, sun was out and just glowing. Had a few items planned today....unfortunately had to reschedule because I was overwhelmed. However, what I did do tonight was attend my aunts cousins Zambian bridal shower (wow a mouth-full). It was beautiful and educational at the same time. Some dressed in traditional garments from Africa while others opted for a modern look. They also had a raffle and silent auction of authentic Zambian jewelry and clothing. As was custom, advice was given on how a woman should act in a marriage and in the home. And who can forget about the FOOD. Normally I don't eat this late but for this I'll make an exception. ;-) Teehee. All in all had lots of fun....and I pray she and her husband have a wonderful blessed marriage.... Shout out to Lwendo Moonzwe.
OUTFIT OF THE NIGHT:
This was the perfect outfit to wear to the bridal shower. Since it was semi-casual I blended in, but still managed to maintain my own style. The shirt I bought from Ross on clearance. I like the teal/grey stripes (especially since blue--and all variations of it is my fav color). The skirt I also bought clearance from Torrid. The ruffled pockets Is what caught my eye in addition to being light and flexible. My heels were from Marshall's, not on clearance lol but still chic. I used to believe the heel was high....but I found taller lol. I love shoes.
That's it beauties!!! until next time.
XOXO
