Hey Beauties!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! It has been an absolute CRAZY fantastic draining week but finally the weekend is upon us ...woot woot...time to relax and enjoy the next two days. Since my family has been here, there has been non stop crazieness lol. Even though they may irritate me at times...I gotta love 'Em :-)  It truly has been fun this past week (as you can see), but like all events it must come to an end and sadly my fam is on a plane back tomorrow to NY. But let's focus on the positive....what we have planned tonight is a SLUMBER PARTY!! lol The whole fam here...about 18 of us...are staying at my mother's house tonight, pop some popcorn and just have some family time. FUN Fun fun! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:

Okay, I'll admit  I LOVE animal print. I know some people used to think it's kinda tacky but its a hot trend right now and I just can't get enough of it.  Today I planned to visit my father and also go to a friends house for a family dinner. So I sported a black t-strap top with peach capri's and a jean jacket. For just a pop of animal print and to complete today's challenge I paired my outfit with leopard open toed pump. To finish the look I added a gold heart pendant necklace.

Hey Beauties!!!

So glad it's Thursday...just one more day till the weekend :-) I hope that everyone's week is going well. It's been long long day today. Took my family to Hollywood...there was about 11 of us...had to take 2 cars. We went on the tour bus (actually my first time on one)

It was fun, they showed us all the celebrities house's...which look smaller up close lol but  still lovely. I wanted to take everyone to see the kodak theater...but I made a wrong turn and ended up going to Universal City Walk instead....lol. Basically walked the strip and had a fun time with the fam...didint get to bed till about 1 and man I was tired. Soon as my head hit the pillow I knocked out. Great day!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:

Today I wanted to look chic, but casual enough to stay cool. I opted for a short black and white skirt and paired it with a white round scoop tee. I added a pair of wedges, bought from Tilly's (love them), and  belt gifted. My family was surprised that i was able to walk in my heels all day....but I think wedges are comfortable and to be honest we didn't do that much walking....lol. Enjoy!!

Hey Beauties!!!

Beautiful day we are having. My family is back from vegas...and no I didn't go but I had good reason not too. 1. My very close friends are getting married in July, and the brides bachelorrette party is in vegas next month...and 2. I had to keep up with my study schedule for MCATS. Going to vegas for 2 days would have me all kinds of sidetrack lol. So I had the house to myself....Got a lot of things done and I even went thrifting with my cousin. It was her first time going and she wanted to know what it was like. We found some great items....check it out...
OUTFIT OF THE DAY: So today was another great day for shorts...YAY...I am dreading the sweltering heat we might be enduring during june july and august :-/ 

I bought these shorts a few years ago and decided to dust them off and wear them today. I paired it with a lovely coral sweater (gorgeous color), underneath is a tank top and I added belted wedges bought from LoveD. For a pop of  I added a leopard scarf (my late grandmothers ).Very comfortable ...hope ya'll enjoy.
