Hey Beauties!!!

HAPPY HUMP DAY! Ugh this weather is killing me, just saying. It was more like that humid Florida-ish type of weather....you don't even have to be in the sun to sweat. lol On that note, I really didn't go out till about later in the evening, by that time it was good to wear a pair of jeans. SMH what a day. I started tutoring my little cousin, who will be in the 5th grade this fall, and it has just been ..... -__- I'll manage though. All I have to say is he better do well in the 5th grade...grrrrr Now onto the OUTFIT OF THE DAY: For today's outfit I chose the stylish Eva Longoria for inspiration. I fell in love with this outfit when I saw it. Looks sooo summery. The actress's bright peach jeans are an edgy contrast to her simple white button-down, while her structured tan handbag and nude strappy heels add a hint of ladylike elegance to the look. This is definitely the look I was going for. So effortlessly fabulous!!!! How you think I did?

Happy Hump Day everyone!! 

Surprisingly no rain fall in my area (as predicted), but it was quite chilly. So after  running a few errands I stayed inside for the most part. My family and I are preparing for the San Diego Kidney Walk this Saturday.  And I've been told at least, yes at least 11 of my family members will be flying down from NEW YORK to participate. YAY. I'm not clear on how everything is going to work out, but I do know that this weekend will be filled with food, fun and laughter! lol....gotta luv family!! Enjoy the day!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:  I love Rachel's style because she doesn't limit herself to just one. She goes from chic to rocker to classy, all of the above and she works it. So Today I decided to try her maxi skirt look. Since today was pretty chilly, this outfit was perfect to keep me warm but not hot. Rachel took her flowy, floral maxi skirt and paired it with some leather motorcycle boots and a chunky black sweater for a seriously cool look. To duplicate, I started with a floral maxi skirt in dark, wintery hues (which looks similar to Rachel's). Next I added simple accessories for a casual look: Love necklace from torrid, a cocktail ring from Charlotte Russe and a satchel purse (not pictured--sorry) to finish the ensemble. Enjoy!

Happy Hump day! Hope all is going well. Today I was busy getting ready for the BBQ Im planning this weekend...and my oh my was it a hot day. California is really living up to its "sunny" weather this week. In other news, I'm super excited! Tomorrow is my mother's birthday and since most of my family members are off from work tomorrow, we're planning to taker her out to Sunday Brunch. It's going to be fun..yay!

 OUTFIT OF THE DAY: Like I mentioned before...today was crazy hot so I put on something sleeveless and not too heavy. But even after a few mins in the Sun, I was sweating! So I think tomorrow...less clothing lol. I borrowed my look from Kim Kardashion. I didn't really make any changes to it except the heart necklace. Basically everything from this look I already had from awhile back...just needed to put the pieces together and they fit well. Enjoy.
