Hey Beauties!!

Hope everyone's weekend is going  well. As usual, attended Church and heard a superb sermon. We had a guest speaker today and his message was on the "Worship App". Remind you, my church is doing a series called APPS 4 Life (you can check them out here). The serious entails apps that we need to better our lives. However, you can't just download them, the concept and focus of the series is to apply and use what you "download". So today we learned about being careful on who and what you worship. The pastor continued to say that the worst enemy is not the devil, it's yourself. Our self gets in the way of our worshiping. Don't only worship when life is good or when in trouble. Worship because you want to and because recognize who you are worshiping. So new goal in life: 

Regardless of what's going on, I will still praise and lift up the name of Jesus.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: This summer is all about brights, but that doesn't mean you have to retire all your black-and-white ensembles. Here I show the simple color scheme that made me  feel right in summer with a black and white printed dress, and adding a black belt and black pumps to complete the look.

Every day may not be good but there is something good in every day.

Hey Beauties!!

It's the end of the month and what warm weather we're having. HOT Hot hot!!! I hope everyone had a great month of June, I'm soooo ready for July...unless the hot weather keeps....then maybe not lol. Today I attended Southeastern California Black Ministries Camp Meeting held at Loma Linda University. This year's theme was about " Abundant life" and today Dr. Charles W. Knight left us with a very important message: God will wait till the situation you're in becomes impossible to show you He can do the impossible. Think about it...God steps in a the right time in order to change you and shape you into who you're supposed to be. It was a wonderful sermon...loved it. Now for my OUTFIT OF THE DAY:  Today I wore a multi-colored print dress. Absolutely love this dress!! Very light weight, great for the hot weather. I kept the color scheme and added a pair of brown suede pumps and brown woven clutch.

Hey Beauties!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It's been awhile since the last time I wrote...we're literally in a new month. SMH. Been busy running around....I'm a few weeks away from my best friends wedding and my test day...so yes stressing out lol. I've decided to take some time out each day to get back into blogging so that I don't go insane. GLAD to be back. OUTFIT OF THE DAY: I wore a green, black and blue patched dress bought from Ross a few years ago. It wasn't too hot but the dress was perfect to wear because it was loose and flowly. I matched green zipper pumps from Charlotte Russe and my Marc teal purse (thrifted) to add a little more color. Hope ya'll enjoy!

Hope everyone's weekend is going well!! Today we are having Taco Tuesday for lunch, yum. lol Next week I'm going to Juice fast for a few days before the San Diego Kidney Walk, because we're going to have a BBQ and there will be lots of food. SMH omy cant wait!!!!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:

This outfit I wore to church. When My mother saw me, she was like "where'd you get that, you bought them together" lol. I had to say no, I bought my skirt probably a year prior to the shirt. And it matched perfectly with my gray colored pencil skirt...crazy right? The chiffon top I bought from G-stage and the pencil skirt from JCPenny. I added my orange satin pumps to finish the ensemble. (fyi...I cannot find satin pumps anywhere anymore....smh luckly I bought these). Hope ya'll enjoy!!

Hope everyone's weekend is going well! Beautiful Saturday we are having! Today I attended church and I just wanted to share a little bit of the message with ya'll. It was on "haters". Moreover, the story of Joseph. His brothers hated him and caused  many tribulations in his life. But through it all, Joseph remained faithful. Same with us. We may not like our jobs, situations, life, etc but not matter what always be the best that you could be in whatever you do because you represent Christ. And of course people will hate...the higher you go the more haters there will be. But it's the way you respond to haters that will determine how God will use you in your life. Obviously, he can't give give you more if you can't handle less.

So, how will you handle the " Haters"??

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:

Since it was a gorgeous day today, I decided to wear this shiny purple dress gifted (from my mother). Love the dress!! So sophisticated. Normally, I wear it with black or purple patterned pumps but today I wanted to add a little color. Hence, I paired it with ruby red opened toed pumps and my red clutch. Hope ya'll Enjoy!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: 

I actually bought this dress a long long time ago, back when Mervyns was still around, anyone remember that store?? I just love the different hues of purple and the polka dots that match. The dresses design accentuates my curves and it’s lightweight. The purple shiny pumps  (Joey O) were gifted and fit perfect with this outfit.  Overall just gorgeous!
