Happy HUMP Day everyone!!! Wow, half way through the week and half way through the year. Boy time flies. This only means, New month...new beginnings for me. Definitely going harder. Updates soon, but first..... 

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:  Because it's summer and hot as HADES here in Cali it's only appropriate that my work place blasts the AC. You know, so that we don't melt. LOL. However I sit directly beneath the vent with little movement, so to me the office feels like Antarctica and I'm about to freeze over. HA! With that being said, my outfit today very appropriate. I decided to mix prints colors today. Sporting a red oversized blazer, thrifted of course. Leopard print black and gray blouse, also thrifted. With black jeans and pumps. Sun was still shining so I added a pair of Aldo sunglasses to pull the look together.

Happy TUESDAY everyone!!! Currently I'm in the library at school (lol) trying to finish this up, so a quick simple post.  It has been awhile since I've been on here. Seems like that's what happens when life speeds up on you. I'm caught up though, everything back on track and I'm back here *YAY*. 

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:  Since it's still spring decided to bust out my lil yellow sundress from Express. I bought this a few years ago, still fits lol. I added some silver to the mix with my flats and necklace, along with a dark gray button down sweater. My Steve Madden purse is a great neutral color with a hint of silver to pull the whole outfit together.

Hope all is well. Guess what?!?!?  Its my BLOGVERSARY!!!! Woot Woot!! One year ago today I posted my first blog entry about . Despite a few setbacks, i've stuck with my blog for an entire year, which is amazing for me.  I have come such a long way compared to a year ago. Blogging has truly helped me as a person to realize my likes and dislikes, whether it's fashion, food, love or religion. I love blogging and can't imagine quitting.  

So special treat today, my cousins from New York were in town, and we managed to take a few pictures. So today will be a "joint" posting with my cousins Ngalula and Neessa Fleurant.

OUTFITS OF THE DAY:  As you can see it's a 3-in-1 outfit of the day. Featuring me and my two dearest cousins, Ngalula and Neessa. Now don't let the pictures fool you, it was pouring rain. Fortunately for us it had stop by the time we took these pictures. The main theme for our coordination outfits was color, color and more COLOR.

Happy hump day!! Wow, middle of the week already?? Going by so fast, not to mention tomorrow is VALENTINES DAY I hope everyone has some delicious plans.  As for me, I don't know because apparently it's a surprise *roll eyes*. No no, I adore surprises I'm just a tad anxious...teehee. What I do know is that I'm invited to a   surprise BDAY dinner this Friday.  My dear friend had the honor of being born on the day of ❤AMOR❤. LOL, so we're celebrating it with a dinner at her house (she has no idea...*shhh). Pictures to follow, so stay  tuned!! OUTFIT OF THE DAY: Spring may seem light-years away, but that doesn't mean bright, springy colors can’t be incorporated into your wardrobe right now. Especially with this SoCal weather we're experiencing. New bride Jessica Biel was inspiration for today's look. Looking stylish as always in this navy blazer paired with green skinny jeans and leopard loafers. I adore the bright green and navy combination and recreated this look by adding a woven belt, leopard flats and a silver hobo bag. I think it looks really chic!

Hope all is well. Just an update on me, I'm back in school....eeeek! So posts will be a little scarce (as you can see lol), while I'm getting my schedule together. I'm planning to blog about 3-4 times a week, and if time permits I'll add extra days.  So here's to the first post of the New Year (yay for 2013). 

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: I have to say, California has been acting funky lately. One day sunny, another cold, another Hot as HADES and then rain -_-  not cool Cali... So for the most part, my outfits have been fluctuating from shorts and skirts to full on jackets and boots. I know--RANDDOOOMMM! Any-who  today I went for a casual yet stylish look. Dark blue jeans, black top and flats with a pop of color from my Coral blazer (thrifted-of course). To add some flare I added a leopard scarf, LOVING IT.

Hey Beauties!!! real quick post today. Just wanted to share this adorable, ladylike outfit with a pop of red. I started off with a nude colored pussybow blouse and paired it with a red asymmetrical skirt. Love the versatility of both skirt and blouse these two pieces...not to mention the colors work well together. To bring this look together, I added  gold braided belt and black pumps. Hey Beauties!!!
New month YES...and one of the best months of the year. I'm soooo ready for fall, thanksgiving and then CHRISTMAS!...but apparently California is not. SMH. We're just now winding down into the mid 70s temperature...so for the next few days you'll see more summery outfits than fall. lol. I guess I should't complain...at least its not 100 degrees anymore. Anyways, Just wanted to say with elections coming up on Tuesday and the devastation of hurricane Sandy its going to be hectic for a couple of days. As some of you may know I do have family in New York, lots of family actually, praise the Lord they're all fine. Unfortunately, some of my relatives houses were flooded and damaged a bit. But what's most important is that everyone is safe. I will continue to keep everyone who was affected by this hurricane in my prayers. Have a wonderful weekend!!!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY:
I went to lunch with my family the other day to celebrate my uncle's B-DAY!! Since it was a little warm, I decided to wear a green white color-block dress with floral print. I added a cork wedges, a heart necklace (that I love form F21) and an off-white waterfall sweater.  Hope ya'll enjoy!!

Hey Beauties!!!

Oh WOW...what a crazy few months it has been. First off, I apologize for the lack of posts. It's just been sooo hectic around here. First off, I decided to attend a Christian retreat, that was close to a month, out in Alabama...it was enlightening. I loved it :-) Pictures later. I was very busy there, my schedule just wouldn't allow me to take pictures. Not to mention, I was out in the boonies  so my outfit posts would consist of t-shirts, sweats, jeans and sneakers lol.  Secondly, tragedy struck! Yes...my camera had and accident and unfortunately is not functioning, smh.. :'( ...yeaaah I don't even know, I'm just in awe at the moment. Currently, I hijacked my father's camera...which I don't like because it takes batteries...such a waste. But I have to make do with what I have. Until I find that special camera. Any suggestions?? (What's a good camera to take fab blog photos??)
hmmm....oh yeaaa its good to be back :-D

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: Today I ran some errands, wasn't out tooo long so I decided to look cute and comfortable. I wore a strapless gray jumpsuit with red strapped wedges. To match the color scheme I added a red heart necklace, floral bracelet and a red Lancaster shoulder bag. Hope ya'll enjoy!!
